Wadhurst CofE Primary School PTA

Hello and welcome to your PTA webpage!

The PTA is a voluntary group of parents, teachers and staff who work together to organise and run, fun fundraising events for the school. As well as a highly successful fund raising body, the PTA is equally concerned with activities that develop social links with the school and are fun for all involved. Last year we successfully raised enough funds to assist the school in completing the big project of interactive smart boards for all classrooms. This year the big funding project is outdoor learning. If the outdoors is your passion, you will want in with this! We will also be using funds to enhance learning and school trips, for example funding transport for the school choir to attend a spectacular concert at the O2 Dome; these are just some to the things we’ve been involved in.

The PTA holds regular meetings (usually in the pub) where we share ideas and organise the next project/s.

As a parent/guardian of children attending Wadhurst Primary and/or a member of staff you are automatically a member of the PTA and are welcome to attend the meetings and help whenever you feel able. Dates and times of meetings will be announced on here as well as on the PTA board near the Junior Entrance. If you do not wish to attend meeting but wish to help out at events, please ask us to add your email to our list.
